This is fantastic! Thanks Phil for doing this work. I never had any success setting up a case that worked (not that I tried real hard), but this already is working great. I think I'll be using this a lot. It's VERY helpful.
I'll try later today to do a side by side comparison of how Case works compared to another AI, on a few different subjects, just to see how different the results can be.
Sounds fascinating. 🤨 <--- The closest Spock emoji. I think I'd like being able to use a real computer to use it though, which is way outside my realm.
Sounds very promising! However, I couldn't complete the registration as it says "Please check your email to verify your account", but I haven't received any email with a verification request.
Very interesting Phil. I have written a lot about ChatGPT's proclivity to come up with conventional viewpoints. So I have learned to prompt the machine to somewhat get around its tendency to prioritize the most common views over not-so-common views. For instance, see: https://ephektikoi.substack.com/p/understanding-llm-ai-the-illusion
I got the confirmation email now, thanks! I tested the system with a simple question: Are COVID vaccines safe? This was the answer (quoting from the conclusion):
"Overall, the evidence strongly supports the safety of COVID-19 vaccines. However, societal factors such as public trust and political influence can affect vaccination rates and health policies. It's crucial to continue disseminating accurate information to combat misinformation and encourage vaccination."
That's great feedback - if you look at the sources it got, it chose to search for news rather than science, where it tends to do a better job. It means the weighting has to tilt more towards original science I think.
Also, it's going to turn your question into a query - so you should prompt it as such. Try "is there any science to support mRNA have side effects?"
Same as Daniel Malis comment - some of the links relating to registration don't work eihter on mobile or laptop.
Great idea - thank u.

Sounds like a very interesting useful piece of A1. All the best going forward. I think Steve Kirsch would enjoy giving it a workout.

With all due respect, is this the way to "fight institutional capture"?

that's disheartening...
